I'm so so sorry for the inactivity lately guys. I got 3 week until my first year of college is done and I've been busy, pair that with my health kick and me going to the gym for two hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays I've just been exhausted. I'm recuperating now (hit 300 lbs/ 136 kg on leg press) and have just now been able to actually get on here and check threads.

I found the traps doc, created my sheet, and think I've caught up but I've missed a lot just in general lately. So first things first how does the background feature about tunnels work? Second what's this about the traps, are we still planning those out? Again apologies everyone. I will be more active here on out though.

Hey, Dingus, happy to have you back. If end of semester gets to tough don't worry about us! I'd rather hear you did well on finals than rolled a d20!

I am afraid I am not seeing the tunnels part of the background sheet you are questioning? The team is planning out their traps right now, if you have any input let them know!

Update: I am placing the traps on the map and should have that posted tonight. After that I think we can start the incursion. You can roleplay a bit before we start, or have your first conversation happen in a panic as a party trudges into your lair.

I am trying to make the encounters progressively harder, with time between to expand the lair and make new traps. Before the first fight is over, I should have a system of traps more formalized for you. I wanted to have it before we start, but it's really taxing coming with with rules for this stuff with no source to draw from.

@Dingus if you are busy, we will go on without you, but you can hop in at any time you wish.

@SchrodingersNinja I'm good now. I wasn't receiving notifications for the thread. Also about equipment, I looked through the threads and didn't see what we were doing for equipment. Also the Feature I was talking about is secret passages under the engineer background.

Starting gear will be whatever is appropriate for your class (weapons, armor, and a pack usually) plus 5d4 gold (representing what you have stolen so far).

Regarding "secret passageways" I think after the first fight I will make that one of the ways you can customize your lair: by digging small tunnels from room to room so you can flank the enemy. Right now, assume you had time to dig one hidden tunnel, no longer than 10 squares long, with one entrance and one exit. Let me know where this is and I can add it to the map for you.

On that topic I would like to add a rule for that.
Each kobold introduced must have a name, small thing unique to them and or a goal.
The goal of this game is to out us in the shoes of the normal dungeon enemy which means that these are no longer nameless minions but distinct individuals.
