Title: More Workshop Ideas
Post by: Otter on February 19, 2019, 12:40:25 PM
I plan on adding a couple of character backstories I've created along with my thought process as I created them.

If you think of anything else that would be helpful for this workshop section, post it here or PM me with your suggestion.

Thanks!

One of my buddies that DMs a group sent me this link to help build a backstory. It's 20 questions, but makes you really think about your character & how you want to play them. Hope this is found to be useful.

This is great, very similar to the questions I answer when I make characters, and NPCs for my games, too. I really like the meta questions at the bottom.

I think the questions I use that aren't on this list that I think are really useful are:

What does your character want people to think about them?

What does your character NOT want people to think about them?

And with regards to question #5 (How does your character believe this goal can be accomplished?): What, if anything, is your character NOT willing to do to achieve their goals?
