Looking for a game
« on: May 09, 2017, 01:14:36 PM »
Experience: Almost 2 years
  • D&D 5e and 3.5
  • Pathfinder
  • Star Wars Saga Edition
I'm open to any system, but if it's one I've never used I may need a little guidance
Availability: I can post at least once a day, but until the 19th of May it will most likely be after 3 PM EST. Also on the 19th itself I may not be available due to graduation.
Play Style: I can play almost anything. The only type of class I haven't used is magic users. Never really took the time to learn their mechanics.
Notes: I make my characters out of their backstory. I know that's what most do, but I've been in some games where you HAD to power game just to survive. So I figured I would throw that little bit in. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Hi @Dingus and welcome to the Pirate! I know there are a couple of games still in the recruiting stage, but there are a couple have recently become active that are still active. One that comes to mind is the Uranium Chef that uses the Fate system. Both players currently signed up for it are totally new to the system, so the DM is being very patient with both of us (I'm in it myself!) in walking through character creation and gameplay. The game absolutely still has slots open, so I know you'd be able to join.

If none of those interest you, take a look at our other active games - D&D and The Sprawl - some of them have open slots as well. Just PM the moderator for the game you might be interested and ask if they have a slot open for you to join - they won't mind!

We're glad you joined, and hope you enjoy it here! Be sure to tell your friends about us!
I dream of a better world - one where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned!

;D I do the same, character backstory makes them "alive" in my eyes.

If your into Star Wars, I'm recruiting players for a Star Wars D6 REUP game(an updated version of the system prior to Saga and just as awesome :) )

Take a look here if your interested. On the Other Side
