Star Finder Campaign Ideas
« on: July 19, 2018, 08:23:07 PM »
Hello! I've been playing starfinder with my friends. We're still kind of new to it, and we're just kind of BSing around in the made up universe. We're not fully knowledgeable on everything starfinder. we've only got one core book and a monster manual.

Either way, I have some ideas for what could be done with it in terms of stories and such

1. starfox campaign.
I'm playing an Ysoki, the little rat guys, and we have a house rule that the Ysoki can be any kind of rodent type of creature. I have a ferret pilot envoy, and he kicks ass. because of their natural dex bonus, and the fact that dex is the core stat for piloting, I think it would be cool if there was a campaign comprised of an Ysoki party who flew four fighter ships and had the DM run the big ship that they all reside in. you'd have to bend the rules a bit, but it could be a mostly ship based combat campaign.

2. Shadowrun, but with starfinder.
learning new game systems is hard. while I like the universe of Shadowrun, I hate the system. Too many D6s!!!! anyhow, I think that the same game could be accomplished with the Starfinder campaign. with a few tweaks to the core of Starfinder, I think that you could have a pretty solid cyberpunk experience with the Starfinder system.

3. Mass Effect.
star finder is basically mass effect, let's face it. reskin everything to be the Mass Effect characters and races, and there you have it.

What do you think? do you have any ideas of your own? tell me.

I'm gonna bump this post over to LFG, I think it fits better there.  This area is more for confirmed games.  =)  I probably shouldn't even have it up since we don't have any open ones atm.  =P
