Looking For Players / Re: [Genesys] The Haunted City [0/5 | 3]

So my character is pretty much finished and if anyone wants to read it they can do so through this link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1tvlQ7QaCYDNuo0N6KNk7Wj4vnG_B7fxg
question for @Yojimbo Would your character be my characters bodyguard, your character seems good for the role and more importantly my character just needs someone to be with her for 2 reasons. 1. her flaw is that she is impolsive and she will drop a current task or problem to deal with a problem or someone in need right in front of her. For example if she was to sign a peace treaty in an hour and on her way to the castle she met a small boy looking for his mother, she would forget all about the treaty (even though she knows its more important) and would spend as long as it took to find the boys mother even if it took an hour and an half. Thus she needs someone to keep her on task.
2. her fear is isolation. This means she has the irrational fear that some undefeatable even will appear and attack her the moment she is by herself but she will never face a foe that she cannot survive as long as she is with someone else therfor she needs to be with someone else.

Could be neat.
I'm actually a fan of how crazy G2 is. It's like they gave the director comple control and he vowed to make sure the studio regretted it. Which should be a genre of film.

Fair enough.

Apparently, Gremlins 3 has had it's script written, and is closer in tone to the original. I hope it's out in the next couple of years, as that would be killer.

Character Sheet
https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1533838

Backstory
As the runt of his brood Taklak was pushed around by his larger broodmates often, unable to fight back physically he resorted to pranks and small traps to embarrass them.

One day, while setting up a trap Taklak fell into a hole, not a physical hole but a hole between the Material and the Shadowfell.

When he woke some time later he was in diffrent part of the nest his body, already small had become gaunt, his scales dull and his body unnaturally cold to the touch. All he had were vague ghostly memories and a dark purple crystal that seemed to pull the shadows towards it.

Now an adult and in a new home (that elder should calm down about that minor incident, eventually, hopefully) Taklak will keep his head down (mostly) and use his skills to help feed the clan.

All the while the Shadows quietly whisper.

Oh, and what do you guys think about rolling randomly to determine the scale colour of the kobolds in our clan? There's a table for this in Volo's:

d100    Scale Colour
01-05Black
06-10Blue
11-25Brown
26-30Gray
31-35Green
36-40Orange
41-55Ornage-brown
56-60Red
61-75Red-brown
76-85Tan
86-90White
90-100Patterned*

* Patterend: roll two colours and a pattern type:

d20      Scale Pattern
1-4Mottled
5-8Reticulated
9-12Shaded
13-16Spotted
17-20Striped

If we're all partial to a specific colour/pattern of course we could just choose that. I'm not at all picky, though, so interested to hear what you guys think.

For scale colour(s), what about striped green and tan (or red). Sorta like the gremlins from the Gremlins movies? As we will placing traps for the nasty adventurers to stumble into, and I would seriously laugh, if the game turns out like even half of the original Gremlins movie.

Grease down a ramp, while we go through a secret passage, anyone?

@Acetwinelf: Never thought of Packrat's age, maybe 15. That could work, that Packrat was initially trained by Feedka Soorko, then the previous hunt leader took him under their wing, got deaded, then Packrat was promoted?

Didn't really think that kobolds live that long, seeing as the normally played PCs seem to curbstomp them. Thought old age for a kobold was 30, not 4 times that. Shows how much I know.

@rjbprime question 1 how old is packrat out of curiosity.
Another question, since your character is both a fighter and uses the duel wielding fighting style same as mine, do you think packrat was trained by my character since I normally train kobold to use daggers and only more promising ones with finer sword play like with scimitars and swords (this is also my only justification for the generic kobold having dagger as their standard weapon yet us having better weapons and being over all much better.)
